What we do
Rural homes rely on services that most town homes never need. We explain those services in plain English and, when you're ready, we look for up to 3 independent local suppliers who cover your area and pass your enquiry to them, with your consent.
How it works
How we're paid
The service is free for homeowners. Suppliers may pay us for introductions. That never changes the price you agree with them.
How we write our guides
- Every factual claim links to its source, usually a government department, regulator, legislation or the official body for the trade.
- Prices come only from suppliers, manufacturers, installers or official bodies. We never use prices from lead-generation directories or comparison sites.
- Each page lists its sources and the date we last checked it. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected].
What we're not
We're not contractors, surveyors or advisers, and we don't carry out, supervise or guarantee any work. Always check a supplier's insurance, registrations and references before you hire them.
